PAUL W. BATES, ESQ.

Mr. Bates is a Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation attorney who has been in practice for over 22 years.  He has successfully handled numerous multi-million dollar cases and continues to deliver exceptional results for his clients.

Prior to practicing law, Mr. Bates graduated from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California where his focus was on all things related to Trial work.  Prior to that, he graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

In his spare time, Mr. Bates enjoys surfing, mountain biking, hiking, and going to the beach with his dogs and family.

RAUL GONZALEZ, JR.

Raul is a case manager and law clerk with over 20 years of experience in Personal Injury law and in particular, motor vehicle accidents.

He graduated from the University of San Bernardino with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In 1997, Raul also earned a Graduate Level Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego and in 2017, he earned a Law Degree in Mexico.

In his current position, Raul helps in every aspect of the successful representation of the firm’s clients. Raul especially enjoys working with clients and developing effective and creative solutions to their concerns.

Raul speaks, reads, and writes Spanish fluently.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and managing a local soccer club. 

NOHEMI (“MIMI”) GARCIA

Mimi is a Legal Assistant with Bates Law. Mimi attended college in San Diego, where she majored in Criminal Justice and earned a Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego.

Mimi takes great pride in providing outstanding service to our clients.  Mimi enjoys being part of a team where she can assist people with real life problems on a daily basis. Mimi’s responsibilities include assisting attorneys and paralegals, handling important legal documents and answering phones.

Mimi speaks, reads, and writes Spanish fluently.  In her spare time, Mimi enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her daughter.
